A police officer told G1 that the manager of the store, a branch of a nationwide chain, filed a complaint only on Thursday afternoon because they were busy conducting an inventory of the losses from the robbery. The manager reported that the suspects were not masked and therefore decided to destroy the system of security cameras and take the recording unit as well as video monitors. Before fleeing, the group tied up the employees and left them locked in the store.

According to police, the store doesn't have security guards. They went on to say that the brazenness with which the crime was committed was unheard of, considering that the store is in the city center. Police could not recall a similar crime in the city.
